Participants required for Natural Human-Robot Interaction Study

Natural Human-Robot Interaction in public spaces for Machine Learning purposes

The main goal of this study is to collect data to train a machine learning system in a social robot prototype. Observations on site will be performed (without taking any video or audio recordings) to assess the interaction of the users in qualitative terms. We are looking for the most natural possible interaction with the robot in order to train the machine learning system.

We will be running this study at UNSW Paddington, Central Yard on XX-XX, 2020.   You can participate if you are 18 years of age or older and are interested in talking to a robot. No signing of a consent form is required, just show up on the day. 🙂

The study involves you asking the robot any question you want about space and/or making general conversation. You can ask as few or as many questions as you like. It won’t take more than a few minutes.

Find the Consent form here.

There is no payment for participating in this study.
